Case Study – My clients are beautifully unorganised
I have a client who is a trainer, she is creative but beautifully unorganised. She conducts training programs for leaders and for employees for large mining companies. She approached me one day to format her work. She gave me a pile of papers (about 150) containing some typed and some handwritten, some pages had “insert graph”, “insert pic of a happy dog”, “make this colourful” etc. The notes needed to be formatted into a standard template with the company logo and her logo. Once I had completed, I sent the notes back to her and she gave me a revised pile with more “add this case study”, “make this into an A3” etc. Again, I completed and emailed it back to her. She was happy. This was a two-day turnaround.
Case Study – Doing what I love
I have an ongoing client who “dislikes admin” and enjoys writing newsletters and running her creative dance workshops. I manage her website subscriptions and take care of her bookings and emailing her participants. I also do her Facebook promotions and respond to inquiries. I keep her doing what she loves and I do what I love. She only pays me for the time I work.

An ongoing client, who works in a not-for-profit organisation, will often email me (when the jobs are overwhelming for her) individual tasks/jobs to complete ad hoc. This could be; updating her client database, making marketing folders, entering data from surveys, client intake forms, advocate meetings etc. A great example is that she had over 100 business cards that needed to be transcribed into an excel document. This is how I help companies save money and complete tasks quickly and keep them on track.

One of my trusted clients is a manager in a large company. He will email me weekly scanned sales documents that I enter into their database remotely. This work is about two hours a week and outsourcing it to me saves the company money on staff and resources. Win win.
Case Study – Offering support when needed
I have a client who is currently rebranding and reformatting all her documents. She has emailed me her logo and templates and will randomly email me documents to be reformatted. I keep track of what I have done and the time it takes to complete and invoice her weekly.
