ABOUT YOUR VIRTUAL ASSISTANT – FLEUR
You know you’ve found the perfect business go-to woman when you do something wacky and think, “Oh, she’s going to love this one”.
Hi, I’m Fleur
A Perth based virtual assistant who believes in the 3 L’s of great business relationships — Learning, Labour and Laughter
All great business relationships start when you get to LEARN about others. Sitting and listening to people takes skill. I mean, to really listen – not to be thinking about what you should say next, but listening to what a person says and picking up on their pain points. It’s through active listening that I pick up on what you need help with, and often find solutions to problems you didn’t even know you had!
Next comes the LABOUR part – the actual doing of the job. Having been a professional admin assistant since 1991, I know a thing or two (or even more!) about admin. It’s what I love doing. There’s no better feeling than a client flicking an email saying, “Fleur, can you do this”, and being able to respond with, “Yep, all done – next!”.
And my 3rd L is one I cherish highly – LAUGHTER. If you don’t know how to laugh, we won’t work well together. I have a really quirky sense of humour and I seem to attract others who are the same. There’s nothing better than sharing a laugh to break up a workday.
Honesty | Reliability | Humour | Knowledge | Respect | Dedication
Why trust me?
Trust in your virtual assistant comes with time. It’s only once you’ve built up a healthy working relationship that you come to fully trust your VA. In the beginning, you simply need to take a leap of faith.
I’ve been working in admin roles since 1991 and worked for a range of well-known agencies such as King Edward Hospital, the Dept of Communities (Housing), Princess Margaret Hospital, Intework and the Australian Institute of Management.
It’s fair to say that I know people, and I know how to find solutions to problems you’re facing in your business.
Taking pride in building my business and my reputation, I belong to esteemed virtual assistant networks and I’ve undertaken business mentoring to fast track my transition to the virtual world.
